Static-X cancels tour.

Wayne static has issued a statement as to why he has to cancel the remaining Noise Revolution tour dates with Static-X. He has to return to Los Angeles to “undergo medical processors that have been hampering his performance.”

I’m so sorry to all my fans but I cant give you the 1000% you deserve from STATIC-X every night right now. Evil disco will continue in 2013. Just wait until you see what’s next!!!

The remaining Noise Revolution tour dates with Emmure and ill Niño will so go as planned without Static-X.

Hush Little Baby tour dates with Butcher Babies and Gemini Syndrome announced.

This fall, Hollywood will be coming to a venue near you. The Butcher Babies and Gemini Syndrome announced several dates for their Hush Little Baby tour. Both of these bands are gaining a ton of support around the states thanks to their recent tours with Otep and Static-X. With both bands leaving new and old fans wanting more, they have come together to give the people what they want, more kick ass metal.

The bands will be announcing more dates soon, and we’ll keep you updated as the tour stops are announced.

Slash Cancels LA show due to illness.

The following is a statement from Slashonline.com about tonight’s canceled LA show.

SLASH Featuring Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators have postponed tonight’s performance (Wednesday, October 3) at The Wiltern in Los Angeles. The show has been rescheduled for Sunday, December 2 at The Wiltern.  Tickets for the postponed show will be honored on the rescheduled night and refunds will be available at point of purchase for those ticket holders who can not attend the re-scheduled show. Vocalist MYLES KENNEDY is unfortunately ill and unable to perform at this time.  Patrons should hold onto their tickets for all postponed shows. The band regrets this inconvenience to their fans and thanks them for their support.

“We want to be 100% for this gig and we’re just not at this moment,” says SLASH. “We’ll be back December 2nd in fighting form. See you then!”

“My apologies to everyone who was planning on coming out to the show tonight,” adds Myles Kennedy. “I promise to make it up to you when we return in a few months.”

Killswitch Engage to play Alive or Just Breathing around the US.

Killswitch Engage are hitting the road this fall to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of Alive or Just Breathing. The band will play the album in its entirety, hitting 20 cities with support from Shadows Fall and Acro. Slipknot announced as Download Festival’s 3rd and final headliner.

The news came out just a few minutes ago, and the 3rd and final main stage headliner for Download Festival 2013 is Slipknot. This marks the return of Slipknot headlining the main stage since 2009. Preview their 2013 set by watching Slipknot: Live at Download 2009, available on DVD and Blue-Ray.

Slipknot on Friday, Iron Maiden, and Rammstein on Sunday. Download Festival 2013 is bigger and better than ever.

Deftones and Scars on Broadway Los Angeles show announced.

Rumors were finally confirmed yesterday for Deftones and Scars on Broadway to add a Los Angeles date to their current tour. Both bands announced that they will be playing at the Hollywood Palladium on November 21st.

This is great news for people who are unable to attend the Ventura Theater concert since it sold out not too long ago. More great news is that this will be Scars on Broadway‘s first home show since July 14, 2010, and if you’ve been to any of their shows, you know that this will be a real killer show.

Pre-sale tickets are SOLD OUT, but regular sale tickets can be found here starting on Friday at 10:00am.
